Experience truly unique, musical and artistic encounters, traipse through a chateau imagining another life, wander in a seaside village, learn from a farmer how the renowned French food is grown and created, sip a glass of wine poolside, and soak in the atmosphere of all that is true and wonderful about France. We also have an end of trip optional add-on for must see sights in Paris. For those who may have never been, you really can’t miss the Eiffel Tower and a sunset cruise on the Seine River.

“We have done two trips now with Cindy and Simply Culture. She is particularly expert at organizing group outings that entertain, educate, challenge, and delight the senses. A guided walking tour of
Philadelphia in Ben Franklin’s footsteps, sleeping in a medieval castle, touring the mansion & slave quarters at Mt. Vernon, millennia of incredible art, cooking classes in Tuscany, breathtaking cathedrals, history brought to life and surprises around every corner!
Cindy is a kind, patient, smart, thoughtful, and adventurous guide. In a word, a mensch. I can wholeheartedly recommend Cindy as a tour organizer, guide, and beautiful human being.”

How do you know if a trip offers a quality cultural immersion experience?

  1. You’ll travel to locations that aren’t major tourist attractions. You won’t be just another 1 of a million tourists.
  2. You’ll stay at beautiful and charming, locally-owned, small inns & hotels.
  3. You’ll participate in hands-on activities such as cooking classes, artisan experiences, artistic encounters, dance instruction or other ways to meet locals.
  4. You’ll have local guides or trip hosts introducing you to their home and sharing their life.
  5. You’ll have opportunities for nature connection to appreciate how place affects people.
  6. You’ll be eating a variety of fresh, local foods.
  7. You’ll be travelling in an ethical manner: contributing to local communities, avoiding over-touristed areas, and minimizing our carbon footprint despite traveling far from home.
