History comes to life at Colonial Williamsburg

experiential learning with an educator, explore buildings, trade shops, Governor’s Palace and museums

— Day 3 —

Learn about the life of Thomas Jefferson and explore Washington DC

Day at Monticello followed by an Illuminated Monuments Tour, an especially magical and moving experience. WWII Memorial , Lincoln Memorial , Vietnam Veterans Memorial ,Korean War Memorial , Jefferson Memorial

Day 4

give honor Arlington National Cemetery

a few students will be selected for a formal laying of a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier

— Day 5 —

Gettysburg National Battlefield

students will participate in a Battlefield Footsteps program where each student is assigned an identity as one of the soldiers in Pickett’s Charge

— Day 6 —

PILLARS OF GOVERNMENT

Tour of The US Capitol Building, Library of Congress, National Archives, Supreme Court from the steps & the Smithsonian American History Museum

— Day 7 —

MORNING TOUR OF THE NATIONAL HOLOCAUST MUSEUM

followed by free time to explore a Smithsonian museum of your choice

— Day 8 —
